Here are some pictures of Kizzy dipping her toes in the river today, also a couple of pictures of her with a rather large stick that she thought she could pick up…she will pick up a small stick and walk along with it, but I think this was out of her league…
Well, two weeks in and Kizzy seems to be becoming something of a local celebrity on the doggy walking trail.
The exchange of dialogue with the other owners is always the same on the first encounter -
‘Hello, oh she’s lovely! What is she?’
‘an Anatolian Shepherd’
‘ana what?’
‘Anatolian Shepherd, Kangal, Turkish dog’

This evening was the first of Kizzy’s puppy socialisation classes, and we have to say that she behaved incredibly well
She is very good with other dogs, even Boxers who have swallowed a bucketful of springs (no kidding – it bounced continually through class!!)

Well, it’s a week today since we brought Kizzy home and what a wonderful week it has been
She has settled in really quickly and remained confident with each new experience and challenge.
She enjoys ‘helping’ mummy with the housework, being particularly interested in the dishwasher and the odd stray sock from the tumble dryer.

Today we took Kizzy to see the vet for her second set of injections, and for microchipping, and she was a little star!
